Wishing you a season filled with joy, laughter, and the warmth of family and friends. As the holiday season approaches, I find myself reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas.

My name is Wilfred Williams. I was Born in Monrovia, Liberia. 10 years ago, with the support of family and friends, I started an initiative to give back to the country that made me by providing toys, clothes, and hot meals during the Christmas Holiday. As a child, my family had to escape our home because of a civil war. We lived in a refugee camp in Ghana. Even during those difficult times, I was always blessed to have new clothes and amazing food during the holidays. Many of children at the refugee camp weren’t as fortunate as me.

18 years ago I relocated to America. My life changed forever. I got a college degree. I played professional soccer. I founded Willex Training, a private soccer training company. I started a charity foundation providing toys, clothes, and hot meals for children in America and Liberia during the Christmas Holiday.

Today, I am thankful to God for all of His many blessings upon my life.Over the last three years, with your donations, we were able to put on a youth soccer tournament and feed over 500 plus people. Serval youth teams and players were given equipment we traveled with, including soccer balls, cleats, training bands, and electric ball pumps. It was great to see the smiles on every face that we blessed. One of the biggest highlights of the trip was throwing our annual Christmas Party for BABMOC Students. BABMOC is a nonprofit ministry that provides free schooling for children up to 6th grade. It was truly a blessing to be able to celebrate Christmas with families and with the kids at BABMOC. We were overwhelmed with the gratitude that BABMOC showed our Willex Training Family.

As many of you may know, to be a part of the Willex Family is to know that its bigger than soccer. Every Christmas we like to do some type of charity work to give back to those who can't afford to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The 2021 year marked the first Charity work we've ever done in Liberia. 2022 was magical. 2023 was even more special because it marked the first year I was unable to be in Liberia for the Willex Christmas Party. With my incredible team, the tradition continued. It was the biggest one yet.

Thanks to your donations last year, we catered for over 200 people and we were able to give a take home package to 175 people including students and staffers at BABMOC. More than we did in 2022. It’s amazing to see the numbers go up. We did good.

This year we want to do evening more. We will feed over 300 people and gift a take home package to 200 people including students and staffer at BABMOC. It brings me joy to see the smiles on the faces of others. This is the true meaning of Christmas. Again, we are grateful we’ve been able to do this over the last three years. We are only able to do it with the collective efforts of all our sponsors, friends and families. Thank you for always supporting and Let’s keep doing this together.

Please help us bring joy and smiles to the youth of Liberia this year.
